\"\"Bakare Olamide Ramota is one of the many Interesting African women in Painting that deserves to be recognized in the 21st century. The average African female artist is driven to portray the narrative and try to change it positively with her Artwork.

She grew up in Lagos Badagry. A student of the prestigious Nigerian Lagos State University (LASU). Although being an English language student her dream of art and artworks remained valid to her. Her interest in art developed into a blazing furnace seven years ago sometime around 2015.  Since then she has consistently put in the effort to keep that fire burning. In a country where good products come out from Badagry Lagos, a bigger Product has emerged.

Miss Ramota’s different forms of Art have lit warm fires in the heart of many art lovers. Abstract Arts, One of the many forms of art where she prides herself as an authority.

Abstract Arts

This type of art does not attempt to represent an accurate depiction of a visual reality but instead uses shapes, colors, forms, and gestural marks to achieve its effect. Although it has been a trending factor in Interior Design. Inaugurating abstract arts into Interior Designs has been a trend for Long and it has produced the most Amazing results but before we talk about inaugurating abstract arts into Interior, designs let’s do a brief run on Abstract arts. The first artist to create abstract art as we know it was Wassily Kandinsky. Abstract art has three types Informal abstractionism, Taschime, and Geometric and Action abstract arts.

Hanging abstract paintings on the wall is a straightforward way to incorporate this design trend into any room. Whether you choose to hang a dramatic piece over the fireplace or incorporate smaller pieces into an unexpected place, like a bathroom, artwork can set the tone for the entire room. Bakare Olamide Ramota LASU’s Big time artist has produced a large variety of artworks with some of them receiving outstanding recognition. Her artworks look to inform and change a particular social narrative. She did the “struggle of a Young girl” a peculiar artwork that tries to expound the life challenges young girls face in their journey through life.”The Scolding Truth” This second art magnifico from Ramota is something that needs a lot more attention. The scolding truth talks about how Harsh the truth could be and yet does not forget to point out the necessity of the truth. She has works focusing on the Lekki toll gate massacre that happened in 2021. Amongst the many images, she has portrayed on canvas is the Vice-Chancellor of LASU Prof. Olanrewaju Fagbohun.
